Bamboo Layette Sets

We’ve been working on something special at One Small Child. We’re so excited to now offer these amazing bamboo layette sets! Bamboo is super soft and stretchy. It’s perfect for newborns. Your little one will be all wrapped up in comfort. We love these adorable sets, and we know your little darling will too!

Four-Piece Bamboo Layette Sets:

Our new four-piece layette sets come with a fun kimono-style top with ribbon tie closure. Aren’t the elbow patches adorable? The pants have a stylish slit on the leg opening and a cute pocket on the seat. So fun! The set also comes with a comfy hat and stretchy blanket that’s great for swaddling. These boys sets are available in white or blue.

The girls set features beautiful ruffle details on the kimono top, a double ruffle on the pant legs, and a ruffle-edged blanket. We love all the frills! The four-piece set includes the kimono top, pants, hat, and blanket in your choice of pink or white.

Three-Piece Bamboo Layette Sets:

Our boys three-piece set is also available in white or blue. The comfy gown has fold-over sleeve cuffs and a gathered bottom so your precious little one will stay snug and warm. The set includes the gown, hat, and blanket.

The girls three-piece set offers the same luxurious features but comes with an adorable ruffle-edged blanket. Fit for a little princess!

Surprise! Our Boutique Reveal

We could not be more excited today as we invite you to our Boutique Grand Opening on February 14, 2015.

We will now be offering our amazing customers the ability to see, touch, and feel each and every one of our handmade designs. You’ll see firsthand the detail that goes into each piece and find the one that speaks to you for your child’s special day. This has been a long time coming and we are so happy with what we can now offer our customers.

Our Christening, Blessing, and Baptism gowns and suits are exceptionally made and of heirloom quality. We also offer spring dresses, and personalized baby gifts. Whether it’s an LDS baptism gown, or Communion gown we also offer girls styles sizes 4-14, on select styles. Our designs are completely unique and will only be found in our shop. We are excited to open this store in our hometown and have our community enjoy our beautiful items.

We are thrilled to also be featuring Lily’s Closet in our boutique, a local vendor with beautiful trendy styles for girls. We will also be carrying items from Aden and Anais, Car Seat Canopy, Finn and Emma, and others.

One Small Child’s Newest Member: Bethany

My name is Bethany and I am so excited to be a part of the One Small Child team! I will be assisting with social media to spread new products, projects, any and everything baby and most importantly inspiration from other moms.

I am still a “new” mom, I have 3 littles that I adore. My oldest is a boy who is 4 years old, my daughter is 3 years old and my newest is a sweet boy just 8 weeks old today! I call myself new because I still have so much to learn and experience with my children that it’s almost overwhelming to think about. And I have been blessed to be able to work from home but it can be easy to work when my children need me, even if they didn’t tell me they did.

S0 I have come to realize that slowing down in life is not a bad thing. Yes, work, activities and adventures are also necessary to learn, grow and enjoy life but I have learned that too much can leave us feeling drained. I want to lead an intentional life with my little family and it starts with me and how I set the tone for my household. My example is what my children learn from, good and bad. For example, our sweet baby boy at just 13 days old had open heart surgery to save his life. We were so blessed with everything and everyone involved. I could have panicked more than necessary though but I didn’t. I wanted my older two to see and understand that being sad, worried and scared was okay but that we had to be positive and keep going. So when Mommy and Daddy were gone for 10 days at the hospital, they were okay. They didn’t worry. Now they love to tell people how baby brother “got his heart fixed by the doctor” and then roll into what they did at school, dance class or story time at the library. I would say for today it’s a win.

I am grateful for the opportunity I have to be a part of this great company and blog and look forward to interacting with all of you!
