My baby is 7 months and I was going to buy a 9month dress, thank God I did not. Its very important for you to take mesurements of your baby, my baby ended up needing a 24 month dress. When I got it, it fit her perfectly! Im very pleased with my purchase and all the help customer service provided.

I spent months planning my daughters christening. My daughter was born August 13th 2011, and we recently Christened her on February 18th 2012, which was also her Godmother's birthday. I could not find a dress I liked. My Mother, her Godmother to be, and myself searched high and low for the right dress.
We wanted something fit for a little girl, that didn't look like an adult bridal gown, and comfortable for a very active 6 month old.
It was a week and 3 days before the big event but we still hadn't settled on a dress. I came across the One Small Child website after hours of web searching, and two returned dresses, one retail, and one website ordered.
As soon as I saw the pictures of the dress, I knew that was it! I shared the link with my Mother and her Godmother to be, and we all agreed that was the dress!
I was a little hesitant purchasing off of a website again since we wouldn't be able to try the dress on my daughter, but we couldnt find anything remotely close in retail stores, so at this point I was willing to take a chance. I followed the websites instructions on taking proper measurements, and it turned out she measured for 3 months even though she is 6 months old. The dress arrived within a couple of days and looked absolutely beautiful! The fit was perfect and pictures on the website don't begin to show the great quality and elegance for such a reasonable price.
My mother ended up ordering every item my daughter needed for her special day and One Small Child's customer service was so amazing with helping us fix some last mintute headband sizing issues. Jenny made sure everything was ready for my daughters special day, just in time!
I would highly recommend not only this dress, but also One Small Child's website to anyone searching for Christening attire and accessories.
I don't plan on having anymore children but if I did, I would purchase from site again without hesitation.
I usually never write reviews and especially not ones this long but I know how many countless hours I searched for the perfect dress. To some people it's just a white dress that your child will wear once but for me it was the beginning of the many special dresses and events to come for my little girl.
My daughter was christening at the same catholic church I was as an infant. I planned this day months before her actual birth so having the perfect dress really made the event perfect in every way!
I truly hope my review can help another Mommy feel the same heart melting magic when she dresses her daughter for her Christening.

I ordered this dress back in Jan. 2010 for our daughter's Christening. The dress is absolutely gorgeous and we received so many compliments on it. I would suggest going on size bigger. We now are ready to Christen our little boy in Feb. 2012 and I am back to purchase something for our son from One Small Child.com. If there is someone out there looking at this dress and is having doubt, go ahead and purchase it, you will not be disappointed.

Today we received this beautiful dress. We are so thrilled to make our Angel wear it for her baptism. The dress looks exactly as shown in these pictures and the cloth quality is awesome.we appreciate one small child for their punctuality in delivery to their international clients

We purchased this dress for our daughter and I could not have been any happier when it arrived. It was even prettier in person. The quality of the material was spot on and you can tell it was sewn with care. I love that it is a more modern version of Christening gown. The material is soft and looks exactly (but better in person) like the pictures that are posted. It came very fast and was packaged nicely. It even came in it's very own garment bag, which I have used to preserve the gown for our daughter. I am ordering from One Small Child again for our son's Christening outfit. You will not be disappointed with this gown.

The gown is beautiful and would be perfect if it was sewn correctly. Contacted service and they sent a replacement dress only for it to be in worse conditin than the first. My heart is broken. Waiting to see what the full outcome is.

My husband and I bought this gown (Clarice) for our daughter Daphanee's Blessing Day. We wanted a gown that was dainty, & elegant, but not overdone because we wanted Daphanee to shine on her special day. The Satin & Organza gown was beautiful, and Daphanee looked like a princess. Thank you One Small Child for helping our sweet angel shine.

Love, love, love, this gown! It is as beautiful or more beautiful than the picture! I didn't want the really lacey gowns that I kept seeing everywhere, this one is perfect: simple but not too simple, love the sleeves and all the other details. I had a question about what size to order and received a response quickly. Also, received the gown, slip, shoes, socks, and bib quickly. Very satisfied with my purchase and would certainly recommend One Small Child.
