Baby-Naming Ceremonies
In many religions, families celebrate and welcome the child into
the fellowship of the religious group through a baby naming
ceremony. This ordinance is usually performed during the baby’s
first month. Family, close friends, and church leaders gather to
recognize, bless, and give the child a name. For some families, the
full name is not given out publicly until this ceremony.
Commemorating the child’s new name,
personalized or monogrammed accessories make memorable gifts for
baby naming ceremonies.
